With two Newton schools (West Newton and Newton Highlands), we offer multiple locations for your children to join our preschools! Our West Newton location sits on the corner of Washington St. and Highland Ave. in the the Unitarian Society, which features a beautiful historic building with a big fenced and kid-friendly playground. Our West Newton school uses the large parish hall for our indoor gross motor room, as well as an amazing chef’s kitchen that we use on-site with the kids! Today, we are sharing some of our favorite neighborhood spots around the area so you can explore all West Newton has to offer!
Allen Homestead + Center
The Allen Center is Newton’s home for arts and culture, which was originally the home of Nathan Topliff Allen, a 19th-century abolitionist and educator. The Center hosts all types of events including a Farmer’s Market in the summer and a concert series in the winter. You can also explore the estate with a tour! Learn more: www.newtonculture.org
