Located in the heart of this culturally diverse neighborhood, our South End school is a very special place.
Our South End is located at 700 Harrison Ave., approximately four blocks down from Boston Medical Center. The school is flooded with natural light from front to back and has an open, airy feel. Our bright and sunny classrooms surround our community room where parents can gather together in the morning for a chat or transition their children into the day gently with a book or a puzzle.

Our Director
Cynthia Henriquez
Cynthia Henriquez is originally from Cuidad Obergon, Sonora in Mexico. "Understanding the different cultures that make up the mixture in this country," she says, "is what makes this a unique place to live and attracted me to come and study English."
"It is very important to love what you do," she adds, "and I am very happy to say that, yes I love my work and I really enjoy what I do. My career has allowed me to interact with children and learn from them. Working at Pine Village Preschool for the past has provided me opportunities to grow and develop, both in my personal and professional life. My goal is for the kids to enjoy coming to school on a daily basis and for the parents to be engaged in their child’s learning experience."
Cynthia became the director of the South End location in 2018 after serving families for eight years in our Kendall Square location as a classroom teacher; her son attended our JP South St. location, which he proudly called "high school," until graduating to Kindergarten. She and her husband have four beautiful children. She enjoys the outdoors and travel; and was a stay home mom while going to school part time.
