Step One: The Inquiry Form

The first step is to fill out our inquiry form. This provides us with the information we need to make sure we direct you to the right location and provide you with answers relevant to your particular child(ren). In some cases, families will initially call or email the Director at their school of interest – this is totally fine, of course! But if you would like to move further into the process, we need all the details outlined on the inquiry form.

Step Two: The Tour

Once we receive your inquiry form, we will contact you to set up a tour in the school(s) of your choice. There are multiple options for visits: information sessions, tours, and virtual appointments. We recommend families start by attending an information session, though this is not a requirement.

Information sessions are held once a month at each location, and usually begin at 6:00 PM. These visits provide an overview of our programs and allow time for you to ask general questions of the Director.

Tours are typically scheduled for 9:30 AM, Monday – Friday and we host only one family per day at each school. If you are able to visit during that timeframe, it gives you a chance to see Pine Village in action, meet the teachers, and, if you bring your child, a chance for you to see her or him in our school environment. If the morning does not work for you we are happy to schedule a tour at a different time of day, though the activities you are able to observe will vary.

Individual virtual appointments are available for families who do not live in the Boston area, or for whom our normal in-person options are not convenient. The timing of these appointments is flexible based on your schedule, time zone, etc.

Regardless of how you see the schools, we strongly recommend that you do so early in the process. This will allow you ample time to consider all aspects of enrollment before you need to make a final decision.

Step Three: Availability

We enroll children throughout the year. As soon as you know you are interested, tell us your ideal schedule, pick up time, and start date, as well as whether or not you have any flexibility.

We offer spots on a first come, first served basis, and receipt of this information allows us to check your specific needs against the current roster.

Step Four: Reserving a Spot

Once we confirm availability, we will send you details for setting up an account in kindertales, our billing and enrollment system. Within this system you will pay a deposit (equivalent to one month’s tuition) as well as a one-time registration fee. All tuition, deposits, and fees are non-refundable. Once you’ve paid the deposit and registration fee, your space is secure!
